“De Las Antillas a Colombia Edits Vol 1” is our second edit series on the label and the first release of Nico Fatcat who is a dj producer and musician from Bogotá (Colombia).

In the first edit Nico Fatcat decided to work “Rapso Dancing Shoes”(1986) which is a rare jazz afrobeat by Brother Resistance from Trinadad & Tobago Island. In this edit we can notice how Nico Fatcat turned the original track into a more funky and danceable version by adding kicks, hats and percussion.

The second edit is a rare bomb from the colombian caribean called
“Pim Pom” (1976) by Wganda Kenya which evocates the afrobeat genre. In this edit Nico Fatcat turns the original track into a Techno\Upbeat version with a hipnotic bassline which reminds us the classic bass line from colombian cumbia.

Without a doubt in this second edit series we can get into a journey of different and unusual revisted musical genres which will be part of the global dance floor.
