“De Las Antilas a Colombia Edits Vol 1” is our second edits series with the label; and the first of a serie of edits produced by Nico Fatcat who is a dj producer and musician from Bogotá (Colombia).

The first edit; Nico Fatcat decided to work on “Rapso Dancing Shoes”(1986) which is a rare jazz afrobeat by Brother Resistance from Trinadad & Tobago Island. In this edit we can notice how Nico Fatcat turned the original track more funky and danceable by adding kicks, hats and percussion.
The second edit is a rare bomb from the colombian caribbean called “Pim Pom” (1976) by Wganda Kenya which evocates the afrobeat gnre. In this edit Nico Fatcat turns the original track into a Techno\Upbeat version with a hipnotic bassline which remind us the classic bassline from colombian cumbia.

Without doubt in this second first edit series we can get into a journey of different and unusual revisted musical gnres which will be part of the global dancefloor.
